This is the fourth part of my 6 page blog posts regarding the basics of applying make-up.You may click the links shown above for the other parts of my tutorials.
For me, this is the trickiest part in applying make-up because one mistake can cause you to wash off all the make up you already applied on your face. So I advise you to practice more on this part.
Also, there are a lot of ways to apply make-up in the eyes.On the other hand, the tutorials shown below is one of the basics.
1.BASE: Similar to your face, your eye lids should also have its base. Cosmetic brands such as Urban Decay has an eye shadow base. However, this will cost you an extra penny. I advise you to use a concealer as an alternative.
2.HIGHLIGHT: Apply an eye shadow with a light shade to the brow bone, this is the area of your eye lid next to your eyebrow. For better results, use a sheer finish eyeshadow for this step.
3.BASE SHADOW: Put a mid-toned eye shadow to the upper eyelids.
4.CONTOUR: Apply a dark tone to one-thirds of the creases of your eyelids.The creases are the other end of your eye lids near the temples of your face.
5.EYELINER: Apply an eyeliner above and below your eyes.
6 EYE LASHES: Curl your eye lashes with an eye lash curler and put a mascara.
