This is the sixth and last part of my blog posts regarding the basics of applying make-up.You may click the links shown above for the other parts of my tutorials.
1.LIP BALM(OPTIONAL): If you got a dry and chapped lips,then I suggest you put a lip balm at least 15 minutes before applying lipstick to your lips. This will allow your lips to absorb the lip balm. However, if your lips still feels greasy you may put a foundation on your lips to set your lips for your lipstick application.
2.CONCEALER OR NYX WONDER PENCIL: Use a concealer or NYX Wonder Pencil and trace your inner lip line to slim or highlight your lips.NYX Wonder Pencil is a concealer within a pencil stick,hence,allowing it’s user to trace the inner lip line easier. I am not sure if other brands have this kind of product.
3.LIPLINER: Trace your lips to emphasize the shape of your lips.
TONE: Use a lip liner pencil,one shade darker than your lipstick shade.
4.LIPSTICK: There are various kinds of lipsticks available in the market. It is your personal preference on what to use.Yet, I usually use a matte finish lipstick because its more pigmented than a high gloss lipstick.
5.LIP GLOSS(OPTIONAL if your using a Matte Finish Lipstick): Only apply lip gloss at the center of your lips.
