Are you the kind of person who loves to treat your tummy with sumptuous meals? Do you consider yourself as a food enthusiast who enjoys trying meals with a twist? Do you have a meticulous taste for specialties which were delicately prepared? Are you tired of visiting buffet restaurants with a modern feel? Then Chef Laudico's Guevarra's should be part of your bucket list.
Guevarra's offers a wide buffet spread of Filipino-Hispanic meals in a relaxed, classy and antique setting. This restaurant also offers the freshest seafood and flavorful pizzas that will surely make your tongue craving for more.A MUST SEE PLACE
Instead of crowded places such as malls and commercial areas, the place is located at a serene residential community along P.Guevarra St. corner Argonne St in Brgy. Addition Hills in San Juan City, one of the old cities in Metro Manila.Considering the location of the restaurant, you will notice that parking spaces were almost unavailable, not because, they have limited space, they have a massive lawn by the way for parking, but because, people were lining up to have an exceptional dining experience.
I guess, people would not take the extra ride if it will not satisfy their expectations and cravings for a delectable feast.
Walls were adorned with plates.
One of the artistic architectural features of the main hall was the wooden carved arch.

A PLACE OF HERITAGE
According to the restaurant's Facebook fan page, the place is a 1920 heritage house which was converted to a restaurant.
I think the original floor plan of the former mansion was not changed. They maintain the divisions and transformed it into different function rooms.
The old living room or shall I say the receiving area which will welcome you upon entering the entrance door became the main hall with long tables.
Small function rooms, are found at the right side area of the house, next to the main hall.I guess these small function rooms served as the former bedrooms of the place.
Adjacent to the left side of the main hall is another spacious room with long tables. I guess this houses the comedor,Spanish term for dining room.
The buffet area on the other hand is located next to the the former comedor.
TRAVEL THROUGH TIME WHILE HAVING YOUR MEAL IN A CLASSIC SETTING
As mentioned above, the main hall has long wooden tables. Also, walls from the main hall and the buffet area were adorned mostly with white ceramic plates inked with dedications from their celebrity customers whilst the smaller function room's walls were accentuated by contemporary wall lamps.
The ceilings of the big function rooms were lighten up by elegant antique chandeliers. The chairs on the other hand is not the typical antique contemporary dining chairs that has wooden carvings on the backrest, instead, the chairs were casual dining chairs in a leather upholstery. I think they opted for this to save space and for comfort of their customers. Guevarra's Buffet Spread
The Buffet area has six stations.More or less, the buffet spread has at least 50 fine dishes available that will surely satisfy people with sophisticated palate. However, I didn’t have the time to list down all of it so here is a list of the dishes I could recall.
THE RATE
Like any other buffet style restaurant, their rates vary during weekdays, weekends and holidays.
WEEKDAYS
399 Lunch499 Dinner
WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
599 Lunch and Dinner
Service charge are not included in the rates shown above.
With so much delectable dishes to choose from I shall say that you are getting more of what you paid for.

- They got signature specialty dishes that you won’t find in any other restaurants.
- Each station have their labels, making it easier for people to find what they want. Also, all of the dishes were properly labeled including the sauces.
- The buffet includes a beverage station that you usually don’t find in buffet restaurants.
- The ambiance is very classy and and have that homey feel.
- You won’t have a problem parking your vehicle since they have a massive parking space.
- The place is very clean.
GUEVARRA'S FLOP FACTORS
- Since the restaurant preserves the house, the place have a very limited space, making it a bit difficult for customers to move around and to go back and forth with their seats.
- Again, since they have a very limited space, the restaurant only have one wash room for male and female. I think buffet restaurants should have more comfort rooms. You know what I mean.
- Unlike other buffet restaurants, where different stations are scattered in different areas to avoid congestion of people, Guevarra’s buffet spread is arrange in one single line, causing a bit hassle for people to go back and forth and get their desired food.
- The place is air-conditioned, however, since the house is well preserved, air-conditioning units are not centralized. You might find the place warm especially during peak hours.
CONCLUSION
Guevarra's is the perfect place for families and friends to experience a fine dining feast that will surely satisfy everyone's palate
.
