Apag Marangle: Now in Metro Manila

Are you residing here in the metro and getting tired of dip fried bland food choices you usually find in fast food chains? Do you miss having a full meal of authentic Filipino cuisine? Would you like to delight yourselves in a restaurant that has a laidback rural setting? Well, if you answered yes to all of the given questions then you should visit Apag Marangle at Park Square Makati.
Apag Marangle
Apag Marangle were coined from two Kapampangan words. Apag means to dine and Marangle means a farm. Thus, Apag Marangle literally means to dine in a farm. Yet, more than providing Kapampangan hospitality and offering a laidback and relaxed ambience, Apag Marangle also boasts for its well renowned specialty dishes.

With 2 branches in Pampanga, Bacolor and Angeles and more than 7 years of bringing happy tummies to the people of Pampanga, the owners of the restaurants namely Cherry Tan and Edmond Navarro, decided to bring the Apag Marangle experience to the people from the metro by opening another branch at Makati.
With Apag Marangle's strategic and accessible new location, just a block away from MRT Ayala Station, at Makati Park Square, more people can now savor into Kapampangan cuisines without having to drive long hours.

Apag Marangle: A nest of Filipino culture

Aside from delectable dishes to satisfy your taste buds, Apag Marangle also showcases Filipino culture by only using native materials in their restaurant's interiors.  Most of their furniture if not all were made from bamboos.

One of my favorite corner is this "Banggerahan" which literally means a lavatory. Usually, this kind of sinks were found at nipa huts in the provinces.

This Naisng Marangle,Apag Marangle's own version of Paella, made me eat rice again. Seriously, this dish with so plenty of toppings is so flavorful that it made me want to come back for more.

Another food that I highly recommend is this Salted Egg flavored ice cream. The saltiness of the egg balances the sweetness of the gelato making it the perfect dessert you can have.
So what are you waiting for, visit Apag Marangle at Makati Park Square and experience Kapampangan food at its finest.
